The Green Climate Fund is the world’s largest climate fund, mandated to support developing countries to realize their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) based on the Paris Agreement to move towards low-emissions and climate-resilient pathways.
GCF operates through a network of over 200 Accredited Entities and delivery partners who work directly with developing countries for project design and implementation. The active engagement of diverse stakeholders is in the DNA of the Green Climate Fund and the GCF Board is mandated to grant Accredited Observers access to participate in its Board sessions.
