Sep 08, 2020 (LBO) – A meeting between the Minister of Justice, President's Counsel Mohamed Ali Sabry and the US Ambassador to Sri Lanka Alaina B. Teplitz was held at the Ministry of Justice this morning.
Discussions were focused on the current role of the judiciary and future plans, including the accumulation of cases in the courts of Sri Lanka, the improvement of the infrastructure of the judiciary, prison congestion, the training of judges, arbitration and other matters.
