Sri Lanka’s first 7-star apartment complex to start construction
Jan 17, 2017 (LBO) – Sri Lanka’s first seven-star luxury apartment complex, Achilleion, is set to commence construction work this week, its developers said.
Achilleion is undertaken by Blue Mountain Apartments which is part of the Blue Mountain Group.
Located on Station Road, Colombo 04, this apartment complex comprises of two 50-storied skyscrapers, connected by Sri Lanka’s first-ever sky bridge.
Achilleion is conceptualized and built by Sri Lankan real estate firm Blue Mountain and renowned architectural firm the Palmer & Turner Group of Singapore, with interiors designed by Index Design of Singapore.
Blue Mountain Group said the complex comprises 618 luxurious apartments as well as a collection of extravagant penthouses.
The complex also comprises of a mini-Cineplex and 24-hour medical centre.
Ground-breaking ceremony of Achilleion is to take place on Thursday graced by President Maithripala Sirisena.
