Sri Lanka’s Ceylon Chamber economic policy forum kicks off

Aug, 04, 2015 (LBO) - Sri Lanka's Economic Summit 2015, with the participation of Sri Lanka's President Maithripala Sirisena and Ranil Wickremesinghe will kick off Tuesday (04), in capital Colombo.







The forum will cover national vision including: Policy Implementation and Perspective, A New Global Economic Strategy for Sri Lanka, Driving Exports – Use of Social Media and Technology, Challenges In and Opportunities For Financing of Exports, Championing Value Addition in Agri Exports, Sustainability Led Export Growth, Going Up the Value Chain – Export of Knowledge Services. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, will deliver the key note address, at the inaugural session and Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mangala Samaraweera will join in as members of panel discussions.







President Maithripala Sirisena will address the participants at the summits closing session.

Suresh Shah, Former Chairman of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will moderate the panel discussion. Samanatha Ranatunga, Chairman of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce is due to deliver the welcome address.







The Summit will be held at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo and will see the participation of over 450 persons including Economist Razeen Sally as well as top business leaders.
