Sri Lanka’s Access Engineering net up in December

Feb 08, 2016 (LBO) – Sri Lanka’s Access Engineering group, which has interests in construction, real estate and automobiles, said net profits in the December 2015 quarter was slightly up by 2.



6 percent to 544.82 million rupees from a year earlier. The group posted earnings of 54 cents per share.



The stock last traded at 22.00 rupees Monday. In the nine months to December the group reported earnings of 1.



83 rupees per share on total profits of 1.82 billion rupees. Revenues rose 2.8 percent to 4.24 billion rupees in the December 2015 quarter from a year earlier and expenses rose at a slower 1.91 percent to 3.20 billion rupees, allowing the group to grow gross profits 5.84 percent to 1.03 billion rupees. Profits at the construction segment of the group rose to 1.

22 billion rupees from 1.18 billion rupees in the nine months to December.







Profits at Access Realities rose to 112.

90 million rupees from 105.05 million rupees, the interim accounts showed.
