Jan 19, 2012 (LBO) - Yields on Sri Lankan Treasury Bills remained mostly flat at Wednesday's auction for the fourth consecutive week, with 12,693 million rupees of bills sold, the state debt office said. The 3-month yield fell one basis point to 8.67 while the 6-month yield stayed at 8.

71 percent and the 12-month yield stayed at 9.31 percent.

The debt office said it sold 6,488 million rupees of 3-month bills, 1,408 million rupees of 6-month bills and 4,797 million rupees of 12-month bills.

The weekly primary auction for the re-issue of 12,000 million rupees of maturing Treasury bills was oversubscribed with bids amounting to 26,426 million rupees being received.
