The All Share Price Index went down 0.15 percent (3.67 points) to 2,394.63 while the Milanka also fell 0.40 percent (11.17 points) to 2,749.99.

Turnover was 152.4 million rupees.

Lanka IOC share price improved by 50 cents to close at 27.00 with deals amounting to 79.2 million rupees. Over 2.9 million shares changed hands.

Hydro power producer Vallibel Power Erathna share closed flat at 4.60 following deals amounting to 11.9 million shares or over 2.6 million shares in volume.
