Commercial Bank slipped 0.50 cents to close at 103.40 rupees down 0.48 percent. DFCC Bank slipped 0.50 cents to close at 106.70 rupees down 0.47 percent. Hatton National Bank PLC closed flat at 149.00 rupees. The Colombo All Share Index closed at 5,550.88 down 25.84 points and the S & P SL 20 Index closed 12.24 points lower at 2997.35 down 0.41 percent.
The day's turnover was 314 million rupees. Top contributors to turnover were Ceylon Leather with 164 million rupees, JKH with 19 million rupees and HNB (NV) with 13 million rupees.
Aitken Spence Holdings PLC closed flat at 126.00 rupees. Colombo Dockyard PLC gained 4.00 rupees to close at 224.00 rupees up 1.82 percent.
Dialog Axiata PLC slipped 0.10 cents to close at 8.00 rupees down 1.23 percent.
