Sri Lanka President to open Colombo Christmas Street 2017

Dec 21, 2017 (LBO) - Colombo Christmas Street 2017 from 21-23 December at Green Path, will be inaugurated by President Maithripala Sirisena this evening. Offering a whole new concept in entertainment for the second consecutive year,  a fun array of entertainment and games will create a carnival style ambience in the heart of the city. The seasonal program will feature up to 65 trade stalls selling a variety of gift items, local crafts, consumer electronics, hampers and several other products. The event is organised by the Sri Lanka Retailers’ Association in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism Development and the Sri Lanka Apparel Brands Association. The program will commence daily at 11.00 a.m. and continue till 11.00 p.m.
