A study conducted in 2009 by the Commonwealth Secretariat on Sri Lanka’s trade facilitation systems and process had come up with13 recommendations to bring current facilities to international standards.
The seminar will be held from April 02 to 04.
"The three day programme will be part of a select and limited focus group of delegates who can contribute and move forward with the important objective of trade facilitation with the main objectives being," its organizers said.
The symposium will identify impediments to trade facilitation and come up with proposals for institutional arrangement to overcome them and enhance trade.
