Parliament on Wednesday elected Ranil Wickremesinghe as the Succeeding President by the votes of the Members of Parliament.
Accordingly, Ranil Wickremesinghe received 134 votes, Dullas Alahapperuma received 82 votes and Anura Kumara Dissanayake received 3 votes.
