Dec 14, 2020 (LBO) – The new building constructed for the duties of the Attorney General's Department was declared open this morning at the invitation of the Attorney General, Dappula de Livera by the Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya, PC, and the Minister of Justice, Mohamed Ali Sabry.
The new building with 12 floors has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 12 billion and the foundation stone was laid in 2016.
Secretary to the Ministry of Justice Priyantha Mayadunne, senior officials of the Attorney General's Department, and a number of lawyers were present at the occasion.
