July 24, 2017 (LBO) - Sri Lankan Government ministers, opposition parliamentarians and advisers will discuss current national challenges faced by the country and possible solutions for those issues at the eighth and the last session of the Sri Lanka Economic Summit 2017.
The session, titled, ‘Transformative Solutions to Current National Challenges’ will take into discussion Sri Lanka’s ongoing reconciliation process, economic reform agenda, law and order situation, national debt burden and also issues in waste disposal management etc.
Eran Wickramaratne, State minister of Finance, Sujeewa Senasinghe, Minister of International Trade, Harsha De Silva, deputy minister of Economic Development, Sunil Handunnetti, member of parliament, Vidura Wickremanayake, member of parliament and Dinesh Weerakkody, Chairman of the National Human Resources Development Council will make up the panel.
The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce has also invited Wijeyadasa Rajapaksa, minister of Justice and Buddhasasana to take part in this discussion, which will be moderated by Shehan Baranage, Executive Director of news and current affairs of Swarnavahini.
The two day annual summit, organized by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will take place on the 25th and 26th July, 2017 at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo under the title of ‘Execute – Transform - Realize’.
