Feb 14, 2012 (LBO) - NDB Aviva Wealth Management, a Sri Lankan asset management firm, has chosen Advent Software to provide a wealth management system for portfolio, client relationship and trade order management.

NDB Aviva wanted to improve operational efficiency and achieve industry best practices to develop its institutional investor client base and improve service levels as it expects rapid growth, a statement said.

Prabodha Samarasekera, chief executive of NDB Aviva Wealth Management, said they also had to migrate 25 years' worth of historical data to the new system, which was done by Globacom of the UAE NDB Aviva Wealth Management, a joint venture between National Development Bank and AVIVA Asia Holdings, provides asset management services to provident funds, mutual funds and other institutional funds.

It has over 500 million US dollars of funds under management.
