Laugfs Terminals seeks USD42.6Mn funding from People’s Bank

Mar 29, 2017 (LBO) - Sri Lanka’s Laugfs Terminals Limited will borrow 42.



6 million US dollars from People’s Bank for the construction of its gas terminal in the Hambantota port, a statement said. "Laugfs Terminals Limited will get a corporate guarantee from the listed Laugfs Gas PLC for the amount of the loan," the company, a unit of Laugfs Holdings group, said in a stock exchange filling.





The expected full cost of the liquid petroleum gas terminal will be 71.

5 million US dollars and will have a capacity of 30,000 metric tonnes.
