H2O One Pvt Ltd (H2O1) has announced that Mr. Muthukuda Arachchi the former Director General of Central Environmental Authority (CEA) has joined the board of Directors of H2O1.
Muthukuda Arachchi is a highly experienced senior scientist counting over 30 years of experience in the industry. In addition to serving as the Director General of the CEA, he has also served as the Head of the Environmental Pollution Control (EPC) unit as Deputy Director General for over 14 years. He started his career with the National Water Supply and Drainage board.
He has served on numerous boards and committees of various state institutions including the RDA, steering committee of National Cleaner Production Center (NCPC), Action Committee for High polluting industries upstream of water intakes, University of Sri Jayawardenapura, etc. He has also been a part of multiple workshops, trainings and seminars including the International Conference on Environment Compliance and Enforcement and Asia regional workshop on environmental Policy Instruments for water quality management.
