Emirates unveils special business class fares from Colombo

(PRESS RELEASE) - Business travellers from Sri Lanka as well as aficionados of the travel experience can now sample the premium Emirates Business Class product with substantil savings, thanks to the Airline’s launch of special Business Class fares to destinations in the USA, UK, Europe and Dubai.

These special fares will be available for bookings made between 2nd and 8th July 2019, but are valid for travel between 7th July 2019 and 15th March 2020, the award-winning airline said.

Offering savings of up to a whopping Rs 72,000, these all-inclusive special Business Class fares from Colombo start at Rs 95,909 to the Maldives and Rs 191,467 to Dubai, and are available for destinations such as Geneva (Rs 379,340), Paris (Rs 429,383), London Heathrow (Rs 452,020), Manchester (Rs 498,797), Los Angeles (Rs 520,846), San Francisco (Rs 520,846) and New York – JFK (Rs 675,246).

Emirates has been consistently upgrading and innovating air travel across all classes. The latest game-changing additions to Emirates’ Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft being rolled out on some routes include Business Class seats inspired by the interior of a modern sports car, with ergonomically designed headrests with a sleek look and feel. Passengers can customise their experience with touchscreen controls for their seat and inflight entertainment system and adjust their personal lighting options. The cabin also includes privacy panels between seats, a shoe stowage area, footrest, and a personal mini-bar.

A US$ 150 million programme to refurbish Emirates’ Boeing 777-200LR fleet saw the introduction of a new Business Class cabin equipped with the latest version of the ice inflight entertainment system and wider Business Class seats laid out in a 2-2-2 configuration, underlining the Airline’s dedication to offering a better flying experience.

Complimentary champagne, vintage wines, cocktails and spirits on board, and new luxury products in Business Class developed in collaboration with brands like Bowers & Wilkins, Bulgari and BYREDO are part of the Emirates Business Class experience.

As a special touch, Business Class travellers can enjoy complimentary Chauffeur-drive services in over 75 cities worldwide, in a fleet of luxury automobiles.
