Jan 25 (LBO) - Sri Lankan based IFS South Asia, offering supply chain solutions, clinched a million dollar deal with Pakistan’s automobile giant Millat Tractors on Wednesday.
This is the first breakthrough into Pakistan for the Asian arm of the Swedish, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solutions provider.
IFS South Asia, headquartered in Sri Lanka, has tied up with names like Toyota Lanka, Honda, Shell Gas, Singer Sri Lanka, Suntel and NDB Bank.
“We are strong in the automobile sector, and in addition, in Sri Lanka we are also concentrating on manufacturing, enterprise asset management and human resource management for companies like banks,” said Jayantha de Silva, Vice President of IFS South Asia.
The tie up with Millat Tractors follows similar projects in other regional countries like India and Bangladesh.
