Colombo Stock Exchange to host a series of workshops to empower investors

Mar 11, 2015 (LBO) – The Colombo Stock Exchange will host a series of workshops to empower retail investors engaged in the Stock Market by educating them on the most prudent means of investment, the company said.

The workshop is aimed at retail investors and conducted in association with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and The Chartered Financial Analysts Society of Sri Lanka. The series is scheduled to be held once every quarter, with an inaugural session to be hosted on 16th March 2015 at CA Sri Lanka, 30A, Malalasekera Mawatha, Colombo 7, from 5.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. for a nominal charge of 1,000 rupees. The initial session will focus on Minority Shareholder Rights with regards to investing in listed securities.
