Households in Sri Lanka can leap-frog into the Internet age with a no-fuss, purse-easy Internet TV facility to be launched in Sri Lanka this week.
The facility is launched by Lanka eCom Technologies (LET), a member of the Ceylinco Consolidated Group.

rnThe unit comprises an easy-to-install Set-top-box and remote keyboard that can convert any colour television set into an Internet TV, enabling the user to browse the Internet, chat on line and send and receive e-mail without having to invest in a computer.rn
rnSold with a free Internet connection and an attractive monthly package at an all-inclusive price of Rs 12,999, the Ceylinco Internet TV, as the facility is branded, is expected to revolutionise they way households in Sri Lanka communicate with friends and relatives, LET Executive Director Niranjan Fernando said in a statement Monday.rn
