He specializes in balance sheet strategies, focusing on optimizing balance sheet efficiency and managing risks effectively, which contributes to Sampath Bank's strong position in the Sri Lankan financial sector. Another distinguished speaker, Aidan Yao, CFA, is the Chief Global Economist at Long Shine Asset Management and a macroeconomist with over 16 years of experience in both public and private sectors. His extensive background includes managing Asia macro research for AXA Investment Managers and holding key economic roles at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. Aidan holds a Master's degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Otago, New Zealand.
