Central Bank chief to visit Northern Province to review indebtedness

Oct 03, 2017 (LBO) – Sri Lanka’s Central Bank Governor Indrajit Coomaraswamy will be visiting the Northern Province to review the situation of rural level indebtedness with stakeholders in five districts of the province and to discuss the measures and strategies to be taken to overcome the issues as an initial pilot project. Accordingly, CBSL said in a statement that they have arranged the following meetings in Jaffna and Kilinochchi during 6 - 7 October 2017 as follows.
