Aug 19, 2020 (LBO) – Sri Lanka’s Cabinet nod has been received to recruit another 10,000 graduates to the public sector.
Speaking to journalists, following the first meeting of the new cabinet, Health Minister Pavitra Wanniarachchi said that the cabinet paper presented by the President himself addresses several issues raised by graduates.

A number of graduates who had registered with the EPF have been disqualified from the 150,000 jobs programme. However, 51,135 eligible graduates have already been selected for the programme.
