Jun 12, 2019 (LBO) – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka continued to make inroads across the global accounting arena, as it signed yet another Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA), which aims to strengthen the standing of CA Sri Lanka members internationally.
The MoU signed by Jagath Perera, President of CA Sri Lanka and Jim Knafo, Director, Global Alliances — Public Accounting of AICPA in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, paves the pathway for CA Sri Lanka Members to obtain the AICPA International Associate membership.
The agreement will also open up avenues for both professional bodies to collaborate including on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and the administration of CPA Exams in Sri Lanka.
