Better Connection

July 06, 2010 (LBO) – Dialog Telekom has inked an Inter-Carrier-Interconnection (ICI) deal with Hong Kong based HKT group which enable users to maintain a network similar to a local area network (LAN) with international branch offices. The network upgrade will allow users to interconnect voice, data and video applications with overseas branch network similar to a LAN, Dialog Telekom media release said.

Under the deal Dialog Telekom would interconnect into the client firms' network which speeds up network traffic and offers easier systems management.

"The agreement also gives Dialog a competitive edge over its industry counterparts by enabling the company to become a global service provider for converged enterprise solutions," Dialog Telekom said.

HKT Global is a unit of PWCC Limited which has global network that covers 1,100 cities in 106 countries, the media release said.
