Etisalat had won five awards. Grants said the brand had been the most awarded since Sri Lanka's Effies began.
The Effies were founded in 1968 by the American Marketing Association.
Organizers have said that standards are equal across countries and an advertisement that wins an award in one country, can potentially win in another.
