Dec 31, 2015 (LBO) - Sri Lanka's Colombo stock exchange's share transaction levy of 0.3 percent will be removed with effect from 1 January 2016, a statement said.

Under the new fee structure, total transaction fees on equities up to 50 million rupees would be 0.82 per cent while the fees for trades over 50 million rupees would be 0.
