CSE Star Performers 2015 awards

The Colombo Stock Exchange held its staff award ceremony on the 12th of September titled “CSE Star Performers”.

CSE Young Achiever awards were received by the children of the staff who have performed exceptionally in their studies or extracurricular activities. “The Innovators Awards” was to encourage innovation and teamwork within the organization and awards were presented to the best innovative ideas that were suggested by the different departments within the organization as a team effort that would either result in additional revenue generation, reduction of costs, improvements in processes or improvement in efficiency. The departments were segregated into core and support departments and winners were selected from among both categories. “The Value Champion” awards, where five employees received awards for their excellence in upholding one of the five company values, namely: Integrity, Professionalism Teamwork, Care, and. Passion, The best branch and emerging branch of the year was also selected from among the branches. The unique feature was that the event was entirely choreographed and performed by staff. The event featured entertainment items by staff, displaying a wide range of singing, acting and dancing talent within the company. The superior quality of the performances surprised all those present as these items were highly entertaining and were well received by a thrilled audience. The “CSE Star Performers” is one of the many initiatives taken by the organization to recognize the contribution of its employees.
