The World Bank will give 100 million dollars to rehabilitate 90 kilometers of road between the towns of Dambulla and Ambepussa in the north-central region and 43 kilometers of road between Kantale and Trincomalee in the east.
The ADB is providing 33.9 million dollars to rehabilitate 38 kilometers of road between Manukulam and Vellankulam and 25.3 kilometers of road between Paranthan and Pooneryn in the northern province.
