The priority service is available all year round in NTB branches of Colombo, Kurunegala, Kandy, Galle and Matara.
NTB plans to introduce similar services to other segments of its customer base, Priyantha Talwatte, deputy general manager, sales and marketing, said.
The bank intends to increase the number of branches to 42 by adding ten new locations within the next one year, Talwatte says.
NTB, which has an 'A(lka)' rating by Fitch Ratings, reported profits grew 41 percent to 144.2 million rupees in the March quarter.
Group revenue was up 50 percent to 2,991 million rupees. Interest expenses grew 58 percent to 1,939 million rupees while net interest income increased 39 percent to 662.7 million rupees compared to the same period in 2007.
Total deposits for quarter remained unchanged at 29 billion rupees and total assets increased 11 percent to 61.7 billion rupees.
