The Mahapola Trust Fund will test its luck at the lotteries game again, with a court injunction against its partnership with US lotteries operator GTECH Holdings withdrawn in August. GTECH Lanka Private Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of the US lotteries giant has a ten year contract from the Mahapola Trust Fund to operate an instant and online lottery games.
A GTECH statement quoted the local operation’s General Manager Sergei Korovin saying, “we are very pleased to move forward with the relaunch of Mahapola’s Lottery in Sri Lanka.
