India last toured Sri Lanka in July-August last year, losing the Tests 2-1 before winning the one day series 3-2. Sri Lanka Cricket, the island's sports governing body said Nimbus will have all commercial rights to market the series and also produce the television coverage.
"We... hope that this partnership marks the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship with Sri Lanka Cricket," Nimbus Sport Executive Vice President, Yannick Colaco said.
Sri Lanka Cricket did not say how much Nimbus paid for the rights, though the floor price for the bid was fixed at between 10 million to 12 million dollars.

Bids for the bilateral series, which that runs from January 28 to February 10, attracted interest from TV networks such as Ten Sports, Sony TV, Nimbus and ESPN-Star in the fray.
