Mar 10, 2008 (LBO) – Emirates Airlines is tripling frequent flying miles to business travellers in March on selected destinations, the airline said. Emirates operates 17 services a week from Colombo to Dubai and four services a week from Colombo to Singapore and Jakarta.

First class passengers who fly more than 100 flights across its will earn triple miles on Emirates' Skywards program, while business class passengers could earn double rewards.

Passengers who fly Business Class on the selected routes will earn double the Skywards Miles during this period.

Devika Ellepola, Emirates Sales Manager in Sri Lanka says it is a good chance for corporate travellers to get Skywards miles while on official travel.

Skywards Miles won can be redeemed for free air tickets or many, upgrades, hotel accommodation, excursions, shopping, and dining.
