Held under the theme of 'Transnational Perspectives on Arbitration', the conference is targeted at arbitrators, in-house counsel, litigators, legal officers, government officials, banks and financial institutions.
The Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (SIArb) and the Singapore Corporate Counsel Association (SCCA) will be joining the conference as supporting organizations, ACL said.
The keynote address will be presented by attorney general Mohan Pieris.
Legal experts from Singapore United Kingdom, Australia, Malaysia, India and Sri Lanka would be making presentations at the Colombo conference.
Sri Lanka has five arbitration centres, and use of the process as tool of dispute settlement has been increasing since an arbitration law was brought in 1995, lawyers said.
The Association of Corporate Lawyers say the conference will help share information on best practices and also help promote Sri Lanka among global business and legal communities.
