Sri Lanka’s first listed dotcom company, said revenues rose to 87.50 million rupees in 2012, from 61.50 million rupees a year earlier.
During the six-months to March, e-Channelling posted a net profit of 3.23 million rupees in 2012, over 6.04 million rupees. Its earnings per share was three-cents for the six months to March this year.
Selling and distribution costs grew 79.45 million rupees in 2012, over 56.58 million rupees the previous year.
This helped profits from operational activities to rise to 4.16 million rupees from 2.38 million rupees in 2011.)
Finance and other income rose to 75.22 million rupees in 2012, from 7.67 million rupees a year earlier, the firm said in a stock exchange filing.
In 2011, the company invested 150 million rupees into a group subsidiary, ECL Soft, to diversify businesses activities into media, leisure and financial services.
