Sri Lanka’s MAS group launches amanté lingerie in home market

Oct 24, 2012 (LBO) - Sri Lanka's MAS group, which claims to be South Asia's largest lingerie maker with a billion US dollars of annual revenues has launched its amanté brand in the island after being first released in India in 2007. The firm said it is targeting women between the ages of 21-45 who "want to feel good about themselves, women who are now more confident and fashion conscious."

"The bottom line is, she ultimately makes the decision for herself as to which lingerie brand makes her look good, fits well, and is available at the right price.

"She is no longer making a choice, but a statement."

MAS which produces garments for top Western brands launched amante in India in 2007.
