The firm said in a statement accompanying its quarterly results that it had won two tenders for power generation in Bangladesh.
Aitken Spence Power initially won a contract to set up a 150MW plant in Bangladesh.
Bangladesh' Daily Sun newspaper later reported that a consortium led by Aitken Spence were among three investors selected to build a 50MW power plant at Bhairab in Kishoreganj district
