The Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Kristalina Georgieva, extended her congratulations to Anura Kumara Dissanayake on his election as the new President of Sri Lanka.
In her special message, she reaffirmed the IMF’s commitment to remaining a strong partner to Sri Lanka and expressed her hope to further strengthen the mutually beneficial relationship between the two parties.
Additionally, Mrs. Georgieva assured President Dissanayake of the IMF’s full support in helping Sri Lanka achieve its development and reform goals.
Meanwhile, The European Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka (ECCSL) congratulates Anura Kumara Dissanayake on his election and inauguration as President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
"As Sri Lanka embarks on this new chapter, the ECCSL remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote economic recovery, and inclusive growth," the organisation said. "We look forward to supporting President Dissanayake and his administration to realize these goals."
